Happy Retirement Mr Alex Ong

Mr. Alex Ong's Retirement was certainly a highlight of my stay in KL....because
i performed with a few friends....I played the keyboard and my friends:-Ee
jeng-drums ,Choong Lee-E. Guitar, Tim-Basic Guitar, Joel-Saxaphone, Shao Jin-Violin....It
was a big band...considering the instruments...it was almost like an orchestra...about
a week before the event, we practised at this Studio near Leisure Mall....later
i realised it was a total waste of money...Rm25 for 1 hour...it was fun though....I've
never played in a band before..... oh yeah...we also had an audition at the
Wesley Multi Purpose Hall...

Suddenly it was already our turn to get on the stage and
perform....hmmmm...i still remember, five years ago when we planned to do something
like this together....perform for teachers day...then the MCs introduced us
" The next performance is by the form fives.....they call themselves BLACK
& WHITE.." Black and White??What the....just because some of us were
dressed in black and white? how silly...well it was my fault after all because
I didn't tell the person-in-charge our group name....nobody bothered to think
of a name...oh well....we played a song by MLTR...the sound system screwed up...halfway
through the performance I couldn't even here myself play....anyway...we finished
the job well and didn't get booed off the stage....It was a great experience...then
it was time to go home....but before that...a group photo....what a day...
