Policy If it is raining, call 557-9601 after 4 pm on weekdays and after 8 am on weekends. Practice will be cancelled if you see lightning, hear thunder, it has been raining all day, or it is raining right before practice. If it rains earlier in the day or is only sprinkling at time of practice, we may have practice. Call department of recreation to ask if the fields are open or closed. If they are open, we will have practice. Cancellation notices will be sent via email. |

Statement of Sportsmanship The more cheering the better. The importance of winning and losing, particularly for the U8 team, should be determined by the players. Regardless of the outcome, parents and coaches should offer encouragement to the players. Please do not shout instructions from the sidelines - this often overwhelms the players with too many directives. The most important thing is for the players to have fun and enjoy the season. |
