chicken fricasée

Large onion

2 tbsp. olive oil

2 lbs. chicken

2 oz. bacon, chopped

2 cubes chicken boullion

10 mushrooms

1 cup white wine

1 cup water

Tbsp. flour

1. Peel onion and cut into slivers.

2. In a large skillet, heat the oil. Add the onion and the pieces of chicken.

3. Brown on medium-high heat.

4. When the chicken is golden, lower the heat. Add the remaining ingredients.

5. Cover and simmer for about 45 minutes. Turn the chicken, covering it with the cooking juice each time.

6. Serve covered with the cooking sauce.
