After a few e-mails asking about why the group isn't doing the lucky dog anymore i decided to just leave one final message concerning the band here. The cover band version of "es" is no longer. I'm not going to go into a huge long story about why. All i will say on this is that instead of trusting my first instincts (which you should always do !!) i went ahead anyway and compromised everything i believed in for the sake of a "cover band". By compromising what i believe in i mean i have always made it a point NOT to play in bands with people that have either too many personal issues or substance abuse problems.I'm not going to point any fingers at all...those involved know where everything is directed. I went out on a limb for each member of this band, some more than others..whether it be to lend expensive guitars for stage use,help work out vocal parts,make cd's etc..etc..only in return to have malicious lies spread about me...and i mean lies...whether it be jealousy or envy those who know me, know me and my history and those who don't decide to spread wonderful tales of gossip about me. In each case, i don't care. To those of you who enjoyed the band, i say THANKS i enjoyed the band too ! for a little while...i strongly believe in the old saying of what comes around goes around...so with that being said this "cover band" chapter of "es" is closed. permanently and for good. all other chapters..are being written as i type this...PEACE! S
