The stud has evolved from our original black shetland colt purchased in the late 1980s to the acquisition of a coloured miniature stallion in the early 1990's , to this point in time where we have approx. 25 ponies , including 4 resident stallions . After a nightmare year of drought in 2002/2003 , we have come out stronger and continue to strive for our goals . Where our ponies are concerned we want it all ! We aim for correctness of conformation , excellent temperament , and a beautiful rainbow of equine colour ! Our breeding program includes buckskins , palominos , taffys , palouse and pintos . The stud is owned by Maree Collins along with her five sons and two daughters . It is located 40 mins. north of Bendigo in central Victoria , in the dairy farming community of Dingee .
