Born Robert Benjamin Karver, but better known to his friends simply by the moniker Rotang, Robbie is perhaps the most emotionally complex member of the Brendan Leonard Show cast. His outward personality is often boorish, arrogant and gluttonous. Privately, however, Rotang is articulate, thoughtful and well-read. For example, he is the only bilingual member of the Brendan Leonard Show cast and is double majoring in international business and real estate at the University of Wisconsin.
Rotang and Brendan met through Pat Mohr during their sophomore year of high school. At first, there was tension between Rotang and Brendan because of Brendan’s alleged refusal to let Rotang participate in a touch football game he organized. Pat, however, quickly orchestrated peace between his two friends and Rotang became a Brendan Leonard Show cast member shortly thereafter. Rotang has a younger brother and a younger sister. His interests include lowrider pants and dogs.
