2014 HISAR SHIELD AWARD NOMINATIONS

The Hisar Shield Award is considered a "Life Time Achievement Award" by the Anatolian Shepherd Dog Club of America (ASDCA). The first award was presented in 1998 to Robert C. Ballard, the ASDCA's founder and Past President, and has been presented 10 times since to current and former ASDCA members who have played a prominent role in the success and leadership of the ASDCA and the Anatolian Shepherd Dog Breed.

The Hisar Shield Committee, which consists of past recipients: Genia Kyres, Chairman; Gary Jakobi, Debi Grunnah, Louise Emanuel and Erin Tallon-Carr, is seeking nominations for the 2014 Hisar Shield Award. A copy of the Hisar Shield Award Nomination form is included as an insert in this edition of the Times. The Nomination Form and Hisar Shield Award Nomination Guidelines can be found on the ASDCA Web Site under ASDCA CLUB LINKS as well.

If you know of someone who is deserving of this award, please nominate them using the Nomination Form and include the required Award Nominator Letter, by July 1, 2014 to the Hisar Shield Award Chairman, Genia Kyres (aegean@san.rr.com).
