I am writing this to all Nancy's online buddies. She was on her way to
Indiana this weekend and was leaving St Louis when her car was
broadside by someone coming off an exit, the wrong direction, a drunk driver.

She is suffering bad head trauma and is in surgery down there.
My mom is on her way to her now.

I am requesting as many prayers as any
of you can give her at this time. Things don't look good right now.I am one
her brothers and was the one to check her mail and play her games while
she was gone just wanted to let all of you know.

Update - This is to let you all know Nancy is being brought back to KC in the morning. She is becoming a lot more stable.Sounds like she will be in the hospital here for not a great while, maybe a week or less. Most of the other recovery and physical therapy for her arm and leg will be done on an outpatient basis.

She is going to hate to not go swimming this summer, well not for a while anyway.Getting her to sit still will be the real challenge.I guess she overheard one of nurses sounding rude to our mom and Nancy jumped her case but good lol. I will keep the updates coming when I know something different.

Nancy is doing better than expected. I am going to see her this morning. She is here at a local hospital complaining about laying still lol. She also wanted her webtv and everyone told her NO at the same time.Since she doesn't have insurance where she works at now, she will probably be sent home Tuesday or Wednesday.Of course since she is working and not without income she doesn't qualify for any Medicaid but that sounds about right for this administration, sorry got off on wrong subject, really hits home at times like these. I told her what a wonderful response you all have given her and she was really happy.
