Our first stop after crossing the border into Malaysia was Langkawi, this place was fantastic with duty free as well!! After a long wait in the heat and hassle of the port, we got a boat down to Penang, interesting stay here as we were in the Chinese area of Georgetown. We left the heat and humidity behind for a couple of days, by visiting the Cameron Highlands. The long twisty journey up into the hills were well worth it. Our final stop in Malaysia was Kuala Lumpar, which is a nice modern city. We visited the Batu caves here during the Thaipusam festival.
