What follows here...as separate jpg images...are some notes I made while reading "The Promise"...the first chapter of C. Wright Mills' sociological classic, THE SOCIOLOGICAL IMAGINATION. These notes are a rough outline of what Mills meant by "sociological imagination." I feel they concisely reflect what Mills was saying...I hope they are useful.
