The Thespian Board is a group of students who organize the troupe’s meetings and events. The board is the link connecting the student members of our troupe with the troupe advisor. The Thespian Board meets twice a month, every-other Tuesday.

Every year in June, a new Thespian Board is elected. Any Thespian member is encouraged to run for a position, if he or she is dedicated to the troupe and enthusiastic about helping to organize the troupe’s happenings. The roles of the board members are described below.

Thespian President
The job of the president is to facilitate all Thespian troupe meetings. He or she prepares agendas for each meeting and submits them to the secretary. The president has the ability to delegate tasks to any of the other board members.

Thespian Vice-President
The job of the vice-president is to assist the president with meeting facilitation and organization of troupe events and fundraisers. He or she assumes the role of president if the president resigns.

Thespian Secretary
The job of the secretary is to prepare meeting agendas. He or she also takes notes during troupe meetings and prepares minutes for absent troupe members.

Thespian Treasurer
The job of the treasurer is to handle the Thespian bank account. He or she prepares reports detailing the income and the expenses of the troupe. The treasurer also organizes the payment of troupe fees and dues.

Thespian Historian
The job of the historian is to document the year in the Thespian scrapbook. He or she takes pictures and creates the troupe's annual Thespian scrapbook, which is kept for future Thespians to enjoy.

Thespian Publicity Directors
The publicity directors organize the promotion of troupe meetings and events. They also organize the promotion of the troupe's three mainstage productions.
