What is Family Therapy?
Why Family Therapy?
Family therapy can be highly effective in fostering beneficial changes in families, marriages, and individuals.

Current research is showing that by promoting harmony in interpersonal relationships, most individual concerns can be addressed more effectively.  For example, treating depression indirectly by addressing relationship issues is usually more successful than attempts to treat depression directly in an individual partner.

Similarly, improving parent/child relationships can be the most significant factor in successfully addressing conduct issues, academic performance, attention deficits, depression, violence, and eating disorders with children — especially with gifted children.
