Beaverton, Oregon - Established 2004
Though wiffleball has been played in Beaverton for many years, it was not until 2004 an organized league and World Series were created. The Great American Wiffleball Park at Pioneer Yards (also dubbed "The Bag" by those who play there) is home to this league. Games take place all year long. The pitching is hard and fast, the hitters swing wood bats, the defense makes plays worthy of the highlight reel, the competition is fierce, the rivalries are intense and the games are always epic. In the six seasons the league has existed, the Tiananmen Square Tanks (2004) have captured one championship, while the Greek Village 301's (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2011) have claimed the last five. The rivalry continues to grow. Now, the teams prepare for the player draft and another epic battle in the upcoming 2012 season.
