THE LORD OF THE RINGS:
THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING

Boromir: "And what would a Ranger know of this matter?"
Legolas: "This is no mere Ranger. He is Aragorn, son of Arathorn. You owe him your alligence."
Boromir: "Aragorn? This is Isildur's heir?"
Legolas: "And heir to the throne of Gondor."

Aragorn: "You have my sword."
Legolas: "And you have my bow."

Boromir: "It's moving in fast... against the wind."
Legolas: "Crebain, from Dunland!"

Gimli: "Dwarf doors are invisible when closed."
Gandalf: "Yes Gimli, their own masters cannot find them, if their secrets are forgotten."
Legolas: "Why doesn't that surprise me?"

Legolas: "We must move on. We cannot linger."

Legolas: "Gandalf!"

Haldir: "Mae govannan, Legolas Thranduilion."
"Well met, Legolas son of Thranduil."

Legolas: "Govannas vin gwennen le, Haldir o Lorien."
"Our Fellowship stands in your debt, Haldir of Lórien."

Celeborn: "Where is Gandalf? For I much wish to speak with him. I can no longer see him from afar..."
Galadriel: "He has fallen into shadow..."
Legolas: "He was taken by both shadow and flame. A Balrog of Morgoth, for we went needlessly into the net of Moria."

Legolas: "A lament for Gandalf."
Merry: "What do they say about him?"
Legolas: "I have not the heart to tell you. For me the grief is still too near."

Legolas: "And what was her gift?"
Gimli: "I asked for one hair from her golden head. She gave me three."

Legolas: "We should leave, now."
Aragorn: "No, Orcs patrol the Eastern shore. We must wait for cover of darkness."
Legolas: "It is not the Eastern shore that worries me. A shadow and a threat has been growing in my mind. Something draws near, I can feel it."

Legolas: "Aragorn, go!"

Legolas: "The Horn of Gondor!"

Legolas: "Hurry! Frodo and Sam have reached the Eastern shore. You mean not to follow them?"
Aragorn: "Frodo's fate is no longer in our hands."

THE LORD OF THE RINGS:
THE TWO TOWERS

Legolas: "Come on, Gimli!"

Aragorn: "Not idly do the Leaves of Lorien fall."
Legolas: "They may yet be alive."
Aragorn: "No more than a day ahead of us. Come!"
Legolas: "Come Gimli, we're gaining on them."

Aragorn: "Legolas! What do your Elf eyes see?!"
Legolas: "The Uruks turn Northeast! They're taking the Hobbits to Isengard!"

Legolas: "A red sun rises. Blood has been spilled this night."

Eomer: "And I would cut off your head, Dwarf, if it stood but a little higher from the ground."
Legolas: "You would die before your stroke fell!"

Legolas: "Hiro hyn hidh ab 'wanath."
"Let them find peace after death"

Aragorn: "Gimli. Lower your ax."
Legolas: "They have feelings, my friend. The Elves began it. Waking up the trees, teaching them to speak."

Legolas: "Aragorn, nad no ennas!"
"Aragorn, something's out there!"

Aragorn: "Man cenich?"
"What do you see?"
Legolas: "The white wizard approaches..."

Aragorn: "It can not be..."
Legolas: "Forgive me. I mistook you for Saruman."

Legolas: "That is one of the Maras, unless my eyes are cheated by some spell."

Legolas: "A scout!"

Legolas: "Aragorn!"

Legolas: "Le abdollen. You look terrible..."
"You're late."

Legolas: "Aragorn, you must rest. You're no use to us half alive."

Legolas: "Boe a hyn neled herain dan caer menig."
"And they should be... three hundred against ten thousand."

Aragorn: "Si, beriathar hyn ammaeg na ned Edoras..."
"They have more hope of defending themselves here than at Edoras..."
Legolas: "Aragorn, nedin dagor hen u-'erir ortheri. Natha daged dhaer."
"They cannot win this fight. They are all going to die!"

Aragorn: "Then I will die as one of them!"

Legolas: "We have followed you this far, you have not lead us astray. Forgive me, I was wrong to despair."
Aragorn: "Ú-moe edaved, Legolas."
"There is nothing to forgive, Legolas."
Gimli: "By the time I get this acursed thing... It's a little tight across the chest."
Legolas: "That is no Orc horn."

Gimli: "Whatever luck you live by, let's hope it lasts the night."
Legolas: "Your friends are with you, Aragorn."
Gimli: "And let's hope they last the night."

Legolas: "Faeg i-varv din na lanc a nu ranc!"
"Their armour is weak at the neck... and beneath the arm."

Gimli: "What's happening out there?"
Legolas: "Shall I describe it to you? Or would you like me to find you a box?"

Gimli: "Legolas! Two already!"
Legolas: "I'm on seventeen!"
Gimli: "I'll have no pointy ear outscoring me!"
Legolas: "Nineteen!"

Legolas: "Aragorn!"

Legolas: "Final Count... ...42."
Gimli: "Forty-two? Oh... That's not bad for a pointy-eared Elvish princeling. I myself am sitting pretty on 43."
Legolas: "Forty-three."
Gimli: "He was already dead."
Legolas: "He was twitching."
Gimli: "He was twitching... ...because he's got my ax embedded in his nervous system!"

THE LORD OF THE RINGS:
THE RETURN OF THE KING

Legolas: "So, it's a drinking game? And what exactly is the point of it?"
Gimli: "Last one standing, wins."

Legolas: "The stars are veiled. Something stirs in the East. A sleepless malice. The eye of the enemy is moving."

Legolas: "He is here."

Legolas: "The horses are restless, and the men are quiet."
Eomer: "They grow nervous in the shadow of the mountain."
Gimli: "That road there. Where does that lead?"
Legolas: "That is the road to the Dimholt. The door of the mountain."
Eomer: "None who venture there ever return. That mountain is evil."

Gimli: "Where do you think you're off to?"
Aragorn: "Not this time. This time you must stay, Gimli."
Legolas: "Have you learned nothing of the stubborness of Dwarves?"
Gimli: "Wether you're accepting, we're going with you laddie."

Legolas: "The mountain is cursed. Long ago, the people of the mountain swore an oath to the last King of Gondor. To come to his aid. To fight for him. But when the time came, when Gondor's need was dire, they fled, vanishing into the darkness of the mountain. And so Isildur cursed them. Never to rest, until they have fullfilled their pledge."

Legolas: "He shall call them from the grey twilight. The forgotten people. The heir of him to whom the oath they swore. Need shall drive him. He shall pass the door to the Paths of the Dead."

Legolas: "The way is shut. It was made by those who are dead and the dead keep it. The way is shut."

Legolas: "Fifteen. Sixteen."
Gimli: "Seventeen."

Legolas: "Thirty-three. Thirty-four."

Eomer: "We cannot achieve victory through strength of arms."
Aragorn: "Not for ourselves, but we can give Frodo his chance by keeping Sauron's eye fixed upon us. Keep him blind to all else that moves."
Legolas: "A diversion."

Gimli: "I never thought I would die side by side with an Elf."
Legolas: "What about side by side with a friend?"
Gimli: "Aye. I can do that."
