| Under
lights, I used Philip F40C50 fluorescent bulbs for
flasks, seedling,4 light bulbs turn on 14-16 hours/day by a timer depending on the
season. Distance under is 5 - 15 cm. under lights. I just try T8 and
SUS-55W to save energy.

Miniatures orchids, An old fish tank, 16'' x 48'' x 19'' with 2 light bulbs was built for miniature orchids. On the bottom, it lays an carpet stuff to keep moist 50 -70.A bottle sprayer to water them. To be happy for a day, get drunk.To be happy for a life time, grow orchids |
Windowsill, My big windows face South/East that sun light can shine from 8:00AM- 1:00 PM. Vanda, Cattley, Rhyn...located closed window. Other, Phals, Paphs and Phrags located further window because they do not need strong light. |
