This contract is between Chris Wolff and Amber Wolff, DBA Enigma Shibas, hereafter known as seller, and______________________________________, hereafter known as buyer.
Some of the following terms of this contract are negotiable, any modifications shall be listed under the heading of "Other."
All modifications shall take the precedence over the provision(s) it replaces. All involved parties must be in good standing with the AKC, prior to executing the following contract:

3. Seller guarantees dog is healthy and will have a vet health certificate to establish this.
Show prospect dog will have no disqualifying faults for exhibition in AKC conformation events or to make breeding inadvisable. Pets MAY have one or more disqualifying faults, and shall not be bred. Pets will be sold with Limited Registration and must be spay/neuter by age 6 months. Proof of surgery is required for release of AKC papers. Altereration due date: _____________________. Failure to comply with alteratin by date listed will result in return of the dog and all accompanying paperwork related to the dog without any further compensation.
4. It is buyer's responsibility to have the dog examined by a vet within 3 days of receipt, to provide assurance of good health and as a base line for future veterinary reference. If, during this period, dog is determined to have any contagious disease, it can be returned for of refund of all moneys paid, except shipping.
5. A fee of $100.00 is required to hold a specific puppy. If that puppy is not available (due to death, wrong gender/color, etc.), 100% of the fee will refunded. If buyer changes his mind after the fee is received by seller, it will not be refunded. Fees retained will be used for care and advertising of puppy, until a suitable placement can be arranged.
6. Purchase price does not include cost of shipping. Shipping costs will be borne by buyer, unless otherwise specified. Shipping costs include the cost of a travel kennel, vet health certificate and an additional charge of $50, if the dog is shipped out of Spokane, WA, rather than Lewiston, ID.
7. Dog is guaranteed to be free of hip dysplasia and have normal eyes through age 6 yrs. Dog is also guaranteed to be free of any life threatening or impairments that severely restrict quality of life. If dog is found to have ailment related to any of the these conditions, seller will replace dog at seller's earliest convenience, after proof of spay/neuter surgery is received. You may keep the dog or return it at your option.
Buyer assumes full responsibility for costs related to medical testing. You are not obligated to test, if you are buying a pet, or have a show prospect you don't intend to breed.
This provision is NOT meant to cover any condition due to the natural aging process, abuse or neglect.
8. Buyer agrees to give proper and prompt veterinary care, along with quality meat based dog food, fresh water, secure exercise space, training and shelter. Dog shall not be allowed off leash outside, unless within a secure area or for obedience competition.
9. Buyer agrees to keep seller notified of current address and phone number.
10. If buyer cannot keep this dog for ANY reason, it shall be returned to seller. No refund will be given.
11. Buyer agrees that seller is not responsible for the actions or safety of this dog, once it leaves seller's possession. Buyer further agrees to indemnify seller from any costs that result from such actions.
12. Buyer agrees not to sell or give this dog to retailers, dealers, wholesalers, or for auction, research, dog fighting or to any other person(s) other than a screened pet/show home without prior, written consent of seller. No offspring of this dog may be sold to retailers, dealers, wholesalers, or for auction, research, dog fighting or to any other person(s) other than a screened pet/show home.
All provisions in this contract are designed to safeguard the dog, the breed in general or the community, and as such, violation of any provision will cause damage to seller's reputation.
Failure to comply with any provision will result in return of the dog to seller and a $5,000 fine for each incident, for said damages.
13. Buyer is responsible for all costs incurred for return of the dog. Dogs that are returned MUST be accompanied by all AKC papers and microchip identificaton signed over to seller.
14. Buyer of show prospect puppies agrees to use seller's kennel name as the pre-fix in the registered name of the dog, and to provide clear photographs suitable for advertising in printed publication six months after receipt and once a year thereafter. Also, that all advertising of dog will include breeder's name and kennel name.

16. For co-ownerships of show prospects only:
ANY dog or bitch bred must have a minimum of one CERF normal report from a board certified Vet Opthamologist, and OFA prelim normal hipsor PennHip normal graded hips.
If it is a bitch, Seller will receive pick puppy out of the first litter. Seller will help choose the stud; Buyer will pay stud fee and all other fees associated with the breeding and ownership of this dog, including heath clearances, routine shots, emergencies, etc. If only one puppy results from this litter, Seller will receive pick puppy from second litter. Buyer MUST NOT spay this animal without written permission from Seller or unless an emergency arises which would endanger this dog's health and well-being. If dog is altered, $1400.00 will be paid to Seller as the cost of one pick puppy.
If it is a dog, Seller will receive 2 free stud services. Buyer will pay for all fees associated with the ownership of this dog, including health clearances, routine shots, emergencies, etc. Buyer MUST NOT neuter this animal without written permission from Seller or unless an emergency arises which would endanger this dog health and well-being. If dog is altered, $1400.00 will be paid to Seller as the cost of 2 stud fees.
If alteration is required due to emergency, no replacement will be offered.
Upon completion of the above, Seller will relinquish all rights to said dog. Full ownership, including AKC papers will be transferred to buyer.

17. If this dog has been bred in any manner contrary to the terms of this contract, intentionally or unintentionally, the replacement guarantee is voided. All other terms remain in effect.
This contract shall be deemed legally binding and is under the jurisdiction of the State of Washington. It is further agreed that the place of venue shall be Asotin County.

not written by an attorney, and adjustments may need to be made to make it
legally binding in your place of residence.
