WHO I AM
  
 
When I was little, I got only what I needed.
That was accepted…that’s who I was.
 
When I was a teen, I did what I wanted.
That was ignored… that’s who I was.
 
When I was a young adult, I did what was right.
That was expected… that’s who I was.
 
When I matured, I looked back and decided
I needed more.
I became more…that’s who I am.

I LOVE YOU JUST AS MUCH

 

Born into this world, not knowing who.

Falling in love with the wrong person, time and again.

God saved me from me when he sent me you.

 

I haven't scratched the surface of what your love gives.

You always see who I can be, above who I am.

It's the reason that I know that I want to live.

 

A caring word, or a loving touch.

I've never known what it means to be loved.

But you're teaching me everyday, and it's such...

 

Such a wonderful feeling knowing that I love you just as much.
