Porcupines & Other Pricks

Porcupine Love
copyright 1977 Janet Ferri

You can love a woman
You can love a bottle of wine
But have you ever thought about
Lovin' a poor ol' porcupine

I've seen you with your love birds
In heaven way above
But I aint ever heard you sing
About a porcupine love

All they wanna do is stick ya baby
Yea, and stick ya really good
Just take their little pricklies
And stick ya like they should

You talk about the birds
And you talk about the bees
You even sing about joy
Under wild oak trees

But of all life's joys
That you know are all quite free
There aint nothin' like makin it
With a porcupine or three

All they wanna do is stick ya baby
Yea, and stick ya really good
Just take their little pricklies
And stick ya like they should

Their hearts I pray shall never meet
But if they do, I promise you
Hell's open gates they'll greet

Hell's bells have rung their toll
Play you say, again, no way
For satan hath take their soul

If their hearts should entwine
God shall say "You to pay"
And never to be devine

May God forgive your ill-reputes
Out the door, you fuckin' whore
I hope this poem computes

You say "Keep it down, her mom's in the next room"
Well fuck her dude, the little prude
Get your hickey's from her hairless cunt's vacuum"

You mean to say this poem's not right
I say, you gay, if I may
You're the one who started this fight

I only believe in just fair play
Don't frown, my precious clown
It's just not my day today

I seem unable to hack this kind of life
The bitch, that witch
To me thee wed to call thy loyal wife<
