Origin:Charles Xavier is by far the worlds most powerful mind. He came from a disfuntional family, his father having died, his mother re-married to a man who only wanted her wealth, and a step brother who would eventually become one of the X-Men's deadliest foes. Xavier's telepathic powers began to manifest at an early age, when he would comfort his mother after his step father beat her by entering her mind and telepathically comfort her, sometimes without even realizing he was doing so. Xavier later joined he military, where he served missions all over the world. In these missions, he met two key personalities in his life, Gabrielle Haller and Erik Lensherr. He had had a romance with Moira McTaggart, but fell insantly in love with Gabrielle. She later bore him a son, David Haller, who is now known as Legion. Erik, also known as Magneto, and Xavier became best of friends, Xavier even explained his dream of human and mutant co-exhistance. At this time, neither of them knew that the other was a mutant. When
Xavier left Isreal and went back to America, he was attacked by an alien called Lucifer, which disabled him and put him into a wheelchair. Later, Xavier started to realize his mission in life and started to use his fortune(inherited from his at this time deceased parents) to build the infamous Danger Room in his parent's mansion's basement. He then began to recruit young mutants for a special "School fo Gifted Youngsters". The first recruits where Scott Summers, Hank McCoy, Warren Worthington III, Robert Drake and Jean Grey, more comonly known as Cyclops, Beast, Angel, Iceman and Marvel Girl. They underwent extensive training to hone and perfect the use of their mutant abilities, and they even went through thei first fight shortly after forming, against the infamous mutant menace Magneto. Xavier was shocked to learn that his old missionary friend, Erik, was the man behind the tin-can helmet, but the X-Men fought valiantly despite lack of proper team training, and prevailed. Xavier has fought through the years, and through the many different teams and hardships, but has not come far in his dream of peacefull co-exhistance. Xavier has recently thought about abandoning his dream, but the X-Men pressure him to keep in pursuit.
