Powers/abilities:Refered to as "weather witch" and "wind rider" due to her goddess-like abilities to control the weather and fly on wind currents.
Origin:Ororo became a thief in Cairo after her parents were brutally killed. Led unwittingly by the Shadowking, she shoplifted and burglarized for a living until she was approached by Professer Xavier and offered schooling and an open-ended membership on the elite team, the X-Men.
Reluctant at first to join, she eventually accepted and was even leader of the team for quite a time after the original five members had left the team to begin the government special ops organization called X-Factor.
Storm at one point during her leadership of the team was stripped of her powers by the mutant called Forge, who she later had a love affair with.
She had also at one time come under the control of the supernatural entity, Dracula, as his concubine. She later regained her immortal soul under the provision that once she had died a natural death, she would return to him as a vampire for the rest of her immortal life.
This was also later negated after Dracula was buried in the moores where his castle stood until her storms crashed it into the seas, with the assistance of Dracula's prodical daughter Lillith, who had posessed Kitty Pryde and was controlling Collossus.
Storm is still an active member of the team, even if she is no longer leader, as that title was passed on to the joint custody of Rogue and Gambit.
