Powers:Kitty has the power to become intangible(ghost-like) and walk through walls and such. her power has an interesting effect on computers and other electronic devises, it causes them to go berserk and sometimes even blow up. Kitty can also use her powers to walk on air molecules.
Origin:After learning of her powers, Xavier picked up on her and contacted her parents to try to get her into the Westchester school. But Xavier wasn't the only one who wanted Kitty, Emma Frost, The White Queen of the Inner Circle of the Hellfire Club also found her, and tried to persuade Kitty to join her group instead. Well, Kitty, as we all know, ended up with Xavier in the end, but eventually spent some time in the ranks of the New Mutants, and then after the X-Men were reportedly dead, Kitty joined Excalibur. When Excalibur disbanded, Kitty went right back to the X-Men.
