Powers:Rogue has the ability to drain others of their powers and memories, sometimes even their personalities. Rogue also aquired Ms Marvel's powers when she was involved with Mystique in the Freedom Force. Rogue had been plagued by Ms Marvel's memories for some time, but also permanently absorbed her powers, including the ability to fly, superhuman strength, a sort of sixth sense(premonitions of immediate situations)and binary capabilities(short term ability of being exposed to the vacuum of space and ect.)
Origin:Rogue first learned of her powers while on a date with her first boyfriend, Cody, when she kissed him and absorbed his energy, putting him into a coma for quite some time. Rogue then ran away from home, plagued with grief, and ran into Mystique, who took her in as a foster daughter. Mystique used Rogue's powers to her own advantage however, and Rogue ended up with the powers of Ms Marvel, also known as Carol Danvers. Rogue eventually left Mystique after nearly killing Dazzler, and ended up with Xavier instead. Xavier tried to help Rogue control her absorbing powers, but it was to no avail. Rogue has been with the X-Men ever since, through trials and doubts of her teammates.
