History:Dark Pheonix came to be after Jean Grey was possessed by the pheonix force entity to save the Sh'iar. After the Pheonix had finished it's job, it sacrificed itself, along with Jean. But the pheonix ended up rising from the ashes and so did Jean, but it had gone insane, wanting to stay a part of Jean, wanting to stay on earth and use Jean as it's host. The Pheonix entity destroyed an entire solar system in it's rage, and tried to destroy the X-Men as well, who fought desparately to get Jean back from the insane creature.
