crumble crust:
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter, softened
5 tbsp. sugar
pinch cinnamon
mix butter and sugar, add flour &
crumble with a fork. add cinnamon.
pie:
6 c. thinly sliced apples
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
dash nutmeg
dash allspice
1 pie shell
mix sugar and spices. sprinkle flour on
bottom of crust then layer apples and sugar mixture. dot the butter on top of
apples and then press on crumble crust. bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes with edges rimmed with foil.
bake additional 20 minutes without foil.
