Cornerstone. The single greatest festival ever to face creation since the beginning of Christian music. Cornerstone Festival is held in Bushnell, Illinois from July 5th until July 9th. This year the festival will host over 180 of the world's best Christian bands and over 225 hours of seminar, and I don't mean the boring kind. The festival features a 100-and something acre lake, 579 acres of grounds, a nightly Christian dance club, a youth workers workshop, a children's ministry center, the Imaginarium, a skate park, the C2K olympics, an impromptu stage for ameteurs, and much, much more. I have been to Jesus NW, Creation, and Tomfest. Small fries. If you haven't experienced Cornerstone, then you haven't experienced the hand of God moving over a MASSIVE number of people in the funnest, loudest, most alive enviornment you could possibly imagine. The festival typicaly costs around $60 per adult. There are discounts available for children, families, youth groups, and college groups. Also, the festival offers a great number of part and full time work opportunities for the duration of the festival and their always looking for volunteers.
