~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~WHAT IS A GERBIL?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A Gerbil is a Rodent from the Gobi Desert of Mongolia. They are Bigger than mice and smaller the rats. They have long Furry tails and medium size ears. they are good pets for older kids and adults. they are happiest in pairs. MY FIRST GERBILS-------------------------------------- I bought my first gerbil in the spring of 1999 his name was Oliver. I loved my little guy! And as they say the rest was history.
