Education at Levi Milton is a joint effort of the individual school, the principal, the classroom teacher, the parent, the community, and the student. Together, these provide opportunities for each child to develop at his/her own unique talents, abilites, and characteristics. We feel that it is our responsibilitiy to meet the need of each student mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, and morally, and to prepare the student to cope wih everyday issues and to enjoy life in a democratic setting in the school which will extend into the community, the nation, and the world. The goal at Levi Milton is to create an atmosphere which transmits to each child the skills, concepts, attitudes, and values that are necessary to become useful members of a democratic society. |
