        Current Assaults

This area will be updated frequently to reflect our current projects. You can also find reference to conventions that will be coming to town. Here you can find out where our next meeting will be held and elsewhere you can expect to find us.....

We generally meet the second Saturday of each month at Regal Cinema's Evergreen Parkway Theatre at 3 pm. It is located at the corner of Evergreen Parkway and 185th in Hillsboro.

We have had an eventful year and it is not over yet. September 2000 saw us as security for the Gates of Thyme in Lincoln City. In October, we had our annual haunted house, called (for this year) Monster Factory 2000. Our national charity is the American Diabetes Association and we hope to continue the association for our Monster Factory 2001.

November we planned on resting but scheduled a gaming day at our Marine Force Leaders home. We need to hone our combat skills and this provides the right atmosphere and many challengers.

In December, we are again working with the Friends of Parkinson's at the Hollywood Theater. "Meet Me In St. Louis" is the chosen movie (not Trek but we can live with it) and our gracious guest hostess is June Lockhart. This spunky lady has appeared at numerous conventions (we met her last year), sharing her wonderful stories that go back to when she acted with her parents and siblings in the Alistair Simms version of the classic "A Christmas Carol." Most of us know her best for being Maureen Robinson on TV's "Lost in Space" or for being the Mom on TV's "Lassie" but she has had a long career with many movies, guest appearances, and more than I can list here. She has a supporting role in "Meet Me In St. Louis" and is happy to appear with that movie.

Remember, if you want to start a ship, join our ship, or just get information, e-mail us! We are always open for new members!

Our Empire tenets:

Have fun!

Ships have self-determination.

Policy of nondiscrimination.

vIt/Veritas (truth).

Each individual determines their own level of participation (personal life comes first).

Don't take yourself too seriously.

When in doubt, refer to rule #1.
