History
 
      St. Andrew's Pipes and Drums has been in existence for ten years. We are a Grade IV events and parades band open to all ages. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, S.W. Maplecrest and Terwilliger, at Boone's Ferry junction, Portland.
       Our standard gigs include St. Patrick's Day performances, Willamette University events, Resort At The Mountains, Salem World Beat Festival and the Mt. Carmel Strawberry Festival. Other performances are held at various times throughout the year.
      We welcome any pipers and drummers looking to join a low-key, fun-loving group. If you are looking for a pipe band home that places family first and yet maintains musical integrity, we are the band for you!
Uniforms
 
      Uniforms include: white shirts, black vests, black ties, glengarries, ghillies or black shoes, off-white hose, flashes, sporran and kilt (St. Andrew's tartan).
      Band provides kilts, vests and flashes. Also provided by the band is part of the drum equipment and matched chanters for pipers.
