If such a deity exists, why would this mentor deity require specific, unrelated rituals to "test" its "students". Why would this deity be subject to rules any more convoluted than those that make up humanism. This deity gets to follow any rules it wants due to its defined omnipotence.
More than likely, the test criteria would be as follows:

The only other explanation would be that it follows rules other than that of humanism. Since being omnipotent it cannot be subject to anything which could force it to do this, it must wish to subject others to something, perhaps even itself or some glorified ideology.
