Ahhhhhh, neat trick you say! Well, there are two ways to do this. I used eyecandy on this one, but it is not necessesary. First things first. Make your background the way you want it, in this case I made solid black with some ghosted images.
Next add a new layer. Add text,,tip,,vertical text works better as you can see. Now deselect your text. If you have eyecandy, take to eyecandy motion trail.
Now, here is how it should
look.
Next, take your shapes selector tool, set to rectangle, and select from the bottom ot the text to the bottom of the trail.
Next take it to deformation, vertical perspective.
Set at 100 difference.
Here is how it should look.
Now, maybe you want your text to stand out a bit more. Grab the text tool and apply text exactly the same as it was the first time, leave selected. Take to eyecandy glass.
Here were my settings for this particular tutorial,,don't be afraid to play with them till you get a setting you like.
Now I added a drop shadow while text still selected.
Finished product!
So you say you don't have eyecandy? ok...heres a way to do it without eyecandy. Now after you have added your text on a new layer. Go to image menu and choose rotate. Rotate by 90 degrees, either way does not really matter. Take image to image menu and choose deformations, wind. Apply wind filter and play with setting till you get close to the same effect as you saw abobe with the motion trail. Rotate text back into vertical position and proceed with the steps.
I encourage you to play around! Never know what new technique you might discover.
