Ok, here is the result from the tutorial posted in the Tutorials section at the Paint Shop Pro Users Group . The tutorial is written by Kawliga. The glass for the background is also supplied on that page.
What I did for this pattern was to take a picture I
found on the web. I enlarged it to 200 percent of original. then
I made a new white file the same size. I pated the picture onto the
white file as a new layer, then added another new layer. On the new
layer I traced the main outlines and shadow colors, keeping in mind how
glass is cut.
I ended up with this.
Next I cleaned up the edges, with a lot of patience, a steady hand, etc, and then forgot to save it! Then followed Kawliga's procedure, added a border of 25 pixels and used selected it and used the Blade Pro preset called My Pine to make the wooden frame and well, you see the end product. Check out the tutorial, the possibilities are countless!
