Section Two

With triangle still selected grab the Fillcan.  Set it at Linear Gradient 120 degrees, Fillstyle normal.

Your traingle should now begin to take on a three dimensional quality. Deselect the triangle.  Two ways of doing this, go to the Selections menu and choose select none, or grab one of your selection tools and right click when you see the four way arrows.

Now grab your Shapes selector tool and in the Tool Control set it at Ellipse, Antialias checked.  Starting fom the center point  bottom of the triangle, click and drag the ellipse out until it covers the entire bottom.  With the same floodfill settings, floodfill the bottom part of the selection.  Now from the Image menu choose Effects, Drop Shadow.  Use black, with a blur of about 1.3, sliders both set at 1.

Now you have a more three dimensional effect.  At this point you can grab your Eraser tool and clean up any stray edges you see hanging over.
