Torta Di Sangue Di Maiale:

(Pork) Blood Pudding Pie(Sanguinaccio)
Ingredient for filling:
1 liter pig blook
600 grams milk
300 grams sugar
200 grams chocolate, grated
grated peel of 1 orange
1 glass vino cotto
1 tablespoon lard
1 wine glass anise liqueur
Mix all in a pot and cook in a double boiled until thickened, for about an
hour
Ingredients for the pastry crust:
600 grams flour
200 grams sugar
3 eggs
100 grams lard or olive oil
1 level teaspoon "Pan degli angeli" baking powder
Make a dough with all the above. Let rest for 15 minutes. Grease a baking pan.
Line it with the pastry. Fill with pudding. Prepare some woven strips of
pastry cut with a pastry wheel. Brush with melted lard and place them as
decorations on the pie. Bake for an hour at medium heat.
