Fairy Rings
 
 
                         Fairies often dance in circles in the grass which are called fairyrings
                    and this spells danger for the human passerby.  The wild
                    enchantment of the fairy music can lead a person inexorably
                    towards the ring in which, like a fairy kiss or fairy food and drink,
                    often lead to captivity forever in the world of fairy.  If a person
                    steps into a fairy ring they will be able to see the fairies and they
                    will be compelled to join the fairies in their wild prancing.  The
                    dance might seem to last only minutes, or an hour or two, or even
                    a whole night but in fact the normal duration would be seven years
                    by our time and sometimes longer.
