Willard Matney Sr. W.W.I Veteran s/o Charles & Effie. He was
born 5 April 1896 in Law. Co., OH and died 5 March 1985 in Law.
Co., OH. He married 1920 Parnell Edith Waugh. They were the parents
of 10 children, three sets were twins. My mother was one of the
oldest twins. Willard served his country well in W.W.I . He was
well liked and respected by all. I have said of him, that in the
song Randy Travis sang about his grandfather, I Thought He Walked
On Water, "well I KNEW that my Grandpa could walk on water if he
wanted to, cause he was the greatest."
