So, I've figured out some ideas on why we're here, why I'm here, now the
question is, to what end? If our purpose is to gain knowledge and pass
it on, *why* is that our purpose? To what end?
Here are a few far-fetched ideas:
The mice are testing us. (Douglas Adams)
To come up with the Ultimate Question (Douglas Adams)
To carry on the legacy of a long gone species (Star Trek:TNG)
An experiment by aliens
An experiment by "god"
To achieve perfection
To set an example for future alien generations
There is no goal
Ok, so the last one probobly isn't quite as far-fetched as the others...
