Spawn, a Comic Book Adaptation/Action, was filmed after a very popular
comic book. It was released August 1, 1997.
Al Simmons, played by Michael Jai White, was murdered and made a deal with
the devil so he could go 5 years into the future to see his wife again. Simmons
was then tranfered into Spawn. Spawn is a creature with super natural energy &
power. This devil, also put a living suit on him so he could not reveal
himself to his family. He is returned 5 years into the future to find that his
wife is now married to a long time friend. Spawn is being hunted by both Dark
& Light forces. Every time he uses his powers to defend himself he comes 1 step
closer to using up all his powers and he will return to Hell. Clown, played by
John Leguizamo, is like the devil on earth. He was sent to make sure Spawn fulfills his duties.
