Summer of Sam

John made this movie (not literally). I finally saw Summer of Sam last weekend. This movie takes place in 1976 and 1977 in the Bronx. David "Son of Sam" Berkowitz, goes out at night and kills. He killed 6 people (3 couples) before he was caught. But the movie is not based on Berkowitz. The movie follows a group of guys who are trying to find the murderer themselves. Vinny (John) is trying to deal with his own personal problems (cheating on the wife he loves and drugs) while the rest of the guys are composing a list of suspects. On that list is one of John's good friends (Adrien Brody), who becomes their target...

This is an okay movie. Very bloody and it has a lot of graphic sex. But I think John was what made the movie good. The actors were all great, but John always adds the extra spark.
