must make an air to air transfer
in order to save 400 lives on board a 747...
and 400 million below.
Nagi Hassan (David Suchet), a terrorist, hijacks a 747 on a route to Washington D.C., in exchange for the release of Abu Sayed Jaffa, their leader. David Grant (Kurt Russell), is a Nagi Hassan expert brought in to help. He shares his theory that Nagi has a bomb aboard and is intending to drop it on Washington D.C. Grant believes he has enough to take out much of the east side of the USA. The President's Crisis Managment Team sees no other choice but to send up a 5 man anti-terrorist unit, to try and defect the DZ-5 lethal nerve toxin bomb and take control of the plane before it crosses the U.S airspace fail-safe. Two other men are asked to go along for the ride. Grant, for his expertise on Nagi, and Dennis Cahill, the engineer for the delivery plane. During the delivery, the delivery plane goes down and they lose Lieutenant Austin Travis (Steven Seagal), the Special Forces leader. The 6 that are now on the 747 have been cut off from everything but the 747. They must rush to defuse the bomb and take over the plane, in a fairly short time.
