The Fabulous 50's

Hey everyone, and welcome to the Fabulous 50's psyber-home! Oh, your riding 'shotgun'? Great! Just reach over there and turn on the radio, would you?

This is a first attempt, but we'll get better as we 'cruise' along our new Superhighway. We've cruised Route 66, and Hot August Nights and a lot of other really cool places in our Fabulous, totally customized, drop-dead gorgeous Purple-Passion, '56 Ford F100. We call her 'Fiddy', short for fiddy-six but this is a new road for all of us... This road is gonna be sooooo cooool!

We gotta sell our beloved baby, but we will never give away our love and interest in this unique era in American History. So many things happened during the Fifties, that profoundly affected the decades that followed; things like Elvis and Rock 'n Roll, Hot Rods, Drive-in movies, Drive-in restaurants- America's youth was on the move in their pegged jeans, ducks-ass haircuts and smart-ass sass! Bobbie socks and sock-hops, and proms when they meant something.. Remember Cherry Cokes, and cruisin'?

Well guys and gals, this is the era that started it all (least we think so; didn't our folks just love that attitude!) Through these pages we hope to share some of this great culture with you. Even today in the 90's, the resurgence of hip, cool, jive 50's type things is astounding.
