Hi, my name is Gloria, and I love to crochet.Through this page I hope to meet others who also find it hard to put down the current project. It would be nice to talk about patterns, ideas, and things you might like to share. We all have our favorite ones.

Included below are some of the things Mom and I have designed or created. I will look forward to hearing from others who enjoy different styles of crocheting also.

My Mom taught me to crochet at a very young age, and I loved it from the start. In the second grade when other girls were bringing their favorite dolls to school, I had my crocheting with me.

I have always enjoyed making up my own patterns, and designs. When Mom began using beads in her crochet work, I was fascinated by the charm and beauty they added. Before long I was working, and creating things with beads in them too.

I enjoy making center pieces, especially anything with the pineapple design in them.

Its also fun making all kinds of ornaments. These include, bells, snowflakes, and angels at Christmas time. I also work with yarn, but not nearly as much thread.
Here is one of the first beaded things I ever made.
This is 18 inches across and has 1400 beads, 4mm size.
This is one of my Mom's tablecloths, she made them for several of us. Because its much larger than her table was, she displayed it across the bed.

When I was a little girl my both my Mom, and Grandmother use to make potholders for the Round Robin. This was a box of potholders, that was sent around to all the ladies on the list. Even to my Grandmother's sisters in England. Each lady would take out a potholder of her choice, and then add something she had made. Then the box would be sent on again. Eventually coming back to you. I just had to include this little piggy one, that Grandma had made for the box. It still has her label on it.
