Banana Ice Cream

This is another recipe from my childhood which my grown children still ask for. It is easy to make and very tasty. We had it often in Venezuela where it was hotter than the dickens and the home of tropical fruit!!!!

INGREDIENTS:

3 ripe but not brown bananas

3 cups of cream

3 cups of sugar (I put 2)

3 lemons, juiced

3 oranges, juiced

note about lemons: please use fresh lemons, the pasteurized already squeezed stuff is not suitable and would ruin the delicate flavor of the ice cream.

METHOD:

1. combine all the ingredients gently, keeping the bananas more or less intact in shape
2. put in glass baking dish and freeze

that's it!!!!
