Welcome to #Brunei’s_cool. This channel was created in order for us to have a place to hang out in irc. A place where we can be ourselves and have fun amongst ourselves. True enough there are lots of other channels but let’s face it, they’re so crowded and it’s practically impossible to have fun in the open chat especially when everyone else is chatting there at the same time. Not to put those other channels down, in fact, we salute those channels for having such a large userbase and actually being able to handle all of them.

What makes our channel better than the rest? Well, to be quite honest, it isn’t actually. But it’s fun in the sense that we know almost everyone else. So, it’s like, false pretenses aren’t needed. We can just be ourselves. And that’s something which people should do, just be themselves. That’s the best way to make new friends.

The channel was founded in October 1998. It’s still a baby channel. It was founded by LoVeR_MaN, the Channel Manager (in other words, the big boss). Even though #Brunei’s_Cool is still new, it has attracted quite a number of new chatters who are now part of the Brunei’s_Cool family. Not only has the channel attracted users from Brunei but also users from other countries as well. We’re hoping to increase our userbase in order to make more friends. So, go ahead!
