A bit about Sara

I love the arts. I enjoy theatre though my favorite part is the work that goes on behind the scenes such as make-up and costumes. I was a ballet dancer for 10 years and also have done other kinds of dance. I enjoy painting but would rather look at the works my favorite artists have done (Waterhouse and Dicksee). Paper crafts like quilling are a hobby of mine and quite relaxing. I also enjoy photography and drawing.

I am definately an animal person. I currently have a beagle named Chaucer, Cat-trina the cat and 4 fish named Sturgeon General, Tuna Turner, Marlin Brando and a nameless one. I think no child should grow up without a dog or a cat, it can teach them to be gentle and caring not only to animals but with people as well. Besides, who doesn't love to be greeted at the door as if you are the sun, moon and stars and the world had stopped while you were gone.

I have been married to a wonderful man since November 7th 1997. He is not my "better half", but my logical half and the bit that keeps me grounded. Without him I would be a basket case. We compliment each other beautifully. I also have a wonderful family. My dad is a pastor and my mom is a fabulous artist along with being a medical transcriptionist. My sister and her husband are great and though we are completely different I wouldn't want to be without either of them. I also have many friends who are amazing in their ability to put up with me! I am interested in my family geneology after seeing the mountains of work my grandfather has done. We are really related to some very interesting people.

I have been lucky enough to travel to the UK. I spent time in all of the countries. I can't really explain it, but I felt more at home over there than I ever have here at home. When I watch movies with scenery shots from Scotland or Ireland I get a feeling of homesickness. I had a hard time because accents come very naturally to me. While I was over there I had to force myself to do other accents so I wouldn't offend anyone by copying their accent on accident. I actually will dream in an accent (though the other day I dreamed in a different language...and one I don't know...it was really weird). believe everyone should take a trip overseas as it can actually change your whole prospective on life.
