  Desired Outcomes of WeedPlan
   CO-ORDINATION Increased efficiency and effectiveness of weed management through the co-ordination of the activities and resources of land and water managers and users, policy makers and other stakeholders.
   ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Awareness and acceptance of their roles and responsibilities in weed management by all stakeholders: governments, land and water managers and users, other interested parties and the general public.
   RESOURCES Availability of adequate expertise, physical resources and appropriate funding for the implementation of weed management programs.
   ASSESSING THE PROBLEM The availability of appropriate expertise, facilities, training and guidelines to facilitate priority setting and the strategic mapping of weeds to assist implementation and monitoring of weed management programs.
   CONTROL MEASURES Land and water managers using effective, sustainable and integrated weed management techniques.
   LEGAL ASPECTS Weeds legislation which assists weed management programs to achieve their objectives.
   OTHER PLANS Consistency and complementarity of weed management programs with other relevant natural resource programs at regional, State and national levels.
   MONITORING AND EVALUATION Availability of mechanisms and procedures by which the success of WeedPlan and other weed management programs may be monitored and evaluated.
