Ash Ketchum- This 10 year old boy has just begun his pokemon training. He lives in Pallet Town and has left his home to trainer his pokemon. For his first pokemon from Professor Oak, he had to chose Pikachu, an electric mouse pokemon. Along his journey, he has captured some pokemon such as Pidgeotto, Muk, Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur. He wants to be a pokemon master and join the pokemon league.
Misty- This 12 year old girl is a gym leader. She trains water pokemon and now has Staryu, Starmie, Psyduck, Goldeen, Horsea, and Togepi. She met Ash one day when he was drowning and Misty caught him. Ash, running away from a flock of spearows, took her bike and later on broke it. Misty now follows him to get her bike back.
Brock- This boy is also a gym leader, age unknown. He trains rock pokemon. He now has Geodude, Onix, Zubat, and Vulpix. He wants to be the best pokemon breeder. So he goes with Ash after he battled him and takes care of his own pokemon.
Professer Oak- He is the man who gives pokemon to beginning trainers. The choices are Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur. He also gives pokedex and information on pokemon.
Gary Oak- Professer Oaks grandson, he has always been Ash's rival. He also wants to be the best pokemon trainer of the world.
Pokeball- This ball is used to capture pokemon and held in until used for battles
Pokedex- This machine stores pokemon information.
Pokemon Center- This is the place in every city/town that heals your pokemon.
Pokemon Gyms- This is the place where pokemon trainers battle all 8 Gym Leaders to get badges. The badges prove that they have beaten them. You must get all 8 Badges to enter the pokemon league.
PokeFlute- This is a flute that wakes up any sleeping pokemon such as Snorlax that block the way.
