The Official Harvester Home Page

Meet the guys:
Albums

Welcome to the new Harvester home page. We hope that this one does not appear as long-winded as our old home page on the Geffen site. As clever as we like to think we are, it does not justify taking up so much space.

It was in the Fall of 1993 that we fell ass-backwards into this band. Harrasser had built up quite the little batch of songs since he had become bandless. He decided to bring some friends together to record the songs and this quickly evolved into the early three guitar, drums, no bass line-up. The band then swan-dived into a series of seriously shitty live shows and were somehow named "Harvester" in the local show listings (Chico, CA.). With band members living in different towns throughout Northern Califorina, practices in Harrasser's apartment were rare. We never would have thought this quasi-band existence would have us on the verge of releasing our fourth CD. Our first release, and only one with the no-bass line-up, was the "Lo-fi Soccer Camp 7" ".

We are currently residing in Portland, OR. 1997 marks the first time that we have all lived in the same town.In addition to the albums we've released, we have a new full-length entitled, "Camper Van Landingham", which will be released on Lather Records, on October 14. The 13 song CD was produced by Greg Freeman in San Francisco, CA Please note our live dates (The link is below). Come see us if you can. We can throw the nurf around, make fun of people, and kick down the rockin' train jangle. You can acquire most of our releases by writing to us at the address below, or check out the link to Lather Records.
