R.I.P. Krazy Karl

Karl was going to school to become a doctor. Karl was my friend. We shared laughs, as well as shared tears, and through the years Karl grew to be a source of strength in my life. Through all the tough times in my life, through my parents divorce, Karl was there for me, and I always stuck by his side.

Karl would have been 21 next tuesday. We had all planned to go down to LA for the gig. Karl had written a song for me, and he was coming down to show it to me this weekend. Ive seen the song now, but I'll never get to hear him sing it to me. At least not until we meet again.

I remember the time in the summer of 95 when Karl, Shaun and I all went to see Waterworld. We all joked about how silly the film was, but I think deep down inside, Karl really liked the film. He never spoke up to protest, and I think that sums up the man who is Karl.
