Don and Donnas 55 Olds!

Hey thanks for stopping by our page on the web. Right now this page is just about our 1955 Oldsmobile Super 88. We purchased this car in the fall of 1999, and we love it. I found the car parked at Wal-Mart with a for sale sign in the window. I almost didn't even stop to look. But then I decided, What the heck? I wouldn't be getting it anyway… right? Well it only took me about 15 minutes to fall inlove with this car, and the price was right. $2,500 bucks! It is perfectly original, needs some resto work. The original non-rebuilt 324 cid V8 still runs great. The only problem with it is that the lifters and carb need adjusting. NO BIGGIE THOUGH. Well we love this car, and it's too good to keep to our selves so we'll share it on the web. More pics and info will be available in the future, as soon as I learn more about HTML programing!!!

Update! We no longer have the car. I sold the car to my Aunt and Uncle, (pictured above) and he is carrying on the restore process. Me and Amy loved the car, but really didn't have the time needed for it, and it was being neglected in our garage. I think the car is much happier now. Some General Information

Things I've done to this car so far

• added seat cover
• washed and waxed it
• changed the oil........LOL
• basic tune-up: plugs,wires,distributor cap,rotor,and points
• rebuilt the carburetor
• New tires
• Fixed the headlights
• New valve cover gaskets
• Replaced a fuel line
• New radiator hose, Still have to replace one
• Fixed windshield wipers
• Putting lots of miles on it, having lots of fun....can you tell?
• I have rebuilt the original radio and it now works great!
• Car is currently sitting, due to a few mechanical problems. Needs fuel pump rebuilt, and also needs a waterpump.
• NEED ORIGINAL NOS FABRIC FOR INTERIOR!!!!! ????? I'll place a sample on here in the near future.
• SOLD IT!
